More than 300 girls in 16 different teams will take part in the girl’s competition that gets underway in Wagga next Wednesday, August 16.
Games will be held at Robertson Oval and Bolton Park from 4.30pm onwards, and will run for six weeks.
Eight of the nine Wagga and District junior clubs will field teams in the two divisions, under 13 and 16s.
Southern NSW AFL game development manager Marc Geppert said it was an ‘overwhelming response’.
