Cops to crackdown on Wagga’s dodgy drivers
Police will launch a 24 hour traffic blitz on Wednesday as part of a statewide operation cracking down on seat belts, mobile phone use and vehicle compliance.

Wagga police commander Bob Noble said school zones will be of particular focus.
“Most cops here are parents, so we understand the difficulty with drop off,” Superintendent Noble said.
“However, if you do the wrong thing you might get a fist-full of tickets in you pocket, which is not what we want, but it might stop an accident.”
