A seven-goal opening term had the Crows in control from the outset as they ran out convincing winners, 16.10 (106) to 5.12 (42) at Leeton Showground.
The Crows’ young guns again led the way with Jayden Lehman and Jameson Booth among the standouts in the big win.
The four points keeps the Crows in third place ahead of Griffith with just three rounds remaining.
Leeton-Whitton coach Jade Hodge was happy with the way his team is building.
“It was a really good first half. We butchered the footy a little bit in the second half but the first half was one of the most complete halves of footy we’ve had for the year.”
It showed on the scoreboard too as the Crows opened up a 53-point lead at the main break.
Turvey Park were better in the second half, led by Dane Campbell and Jack Haggar.
Hodge was happy to come away with such a big win over the Bulldogs.
“I was pretty happy overall,” he said.
“It’s good to get a win, by 10 or 11 goals, against a side like Turvey. They’ve pushed some good teams this year.
“Our run and spread was really good. We knew they were going to drop numbers back behind the footy but we looked inboard and run and created.”
Aside from Lehman and Booth, Mason Dryburgh was strong in the ruck, while Bryce O’Garey produced the goods in his 100th game for the club.
With only two games remaining before finals, Hodge is happy with the direction his team is headed.
“Again, we’re slowly getting there,” he said.
“We’ve still got a long way to go but the belief we’ve got inside the group is huge. We’ve still got a fair way to go, we’re still making mistakes but you don’t want to be peaking now.
“As long as we’re winning, we’re creating belief within the group and it’s a good time of the year to be winning.”
