Only 14 points separated the two teams at three-quarter-time before the Crows finished strongly with the breeze, winning 16.8 (104) to 10.12 (72) at Ganmain Sportsground.
As they have done all season, the Lions put up a strong fight but were unable to match it with the opposition over four quarters.
Leeton-Whitton coach Jade Hodge thought the Crows did well under the circumstances.
“It was a really scrappy game and they dropped numbers behind the footy,” Hodge said.
“We made some pretty poor skill errors and some pretty poor decisions. That’s not taking anything away from Ganmain, they done their homework and were good. They brought a lot of pressure.
“Our decision making and disposal by footy was pretty ordinary but when we lowered our eyes and kicked it around them, we looked a million dollars. We just didn’t do it enough.
Crows youngsters Jameson Booth and Jayden Lehman were Leeton-Whitton’s best, while Bryce O’Garey was very good again.
Jacob Olsson was strong all day for the Lions, while captain-coach Luke Sicker, Dan Foley and Tom Anderson also impressed.
