As tensions once again flare on the peninsula, veteran John Sullivan blamed North Korea’s dictator.
“It’s a terrible situation. A terrible situation because this clown, and he is a clown in North Korea; (he) is trying to cover up the errors they’ve made in their own country. He is strutting the world stage to make it appear that he’s a great leader, but he is a clown, and a very dangerous clown at that,” Mr Sullivan said.
Veteran Alan Evans suggested: “They ought to send in a sniper. I think he’s an idiot.”
Wagga RSL sub branch president, Harry Edmonds, said while his thoughts were firmly in the past on this day, the current crisis is a concern.
“We thought that we’d had it cleared up but apparently that’s not happened,” Mr Edmonds said.
