Tigers enjoyed their first win in more than a month, downing a struggling Narrandera side 29.18 (192) to 2.4 (16) at Robertson Oval.
Tigers forward John Buchanan was back at his best with a bag of 10 goals.
Tigers had only managed 29 goals in the four games since their last win, then came out and matched that in the space of two hours.
Wagga Tigers captain-coach Shaun Campbell was pleased to see his team find some form.
“It was good to kick some goals. The energy was back up and we had a bit of fun,” Campbell said.
“The best part of the win was that we didn’t have a ruckman, but we won the centre clearances and were able to get the ball forward and kick goals.”
Aside from Buchanan, Shaun Driscoll, Jake Mascini, Jackson Kew and Dylan Morton were also very good.
Reece Hutton continued his fine first season with Narrandera by playing a strong game in a losing team.
