After going through the first five games undefeated, the Blues season has stalled following losses to Gundagai, Southcity and Young plus a draw with Kangaroos.
While still competitive the results haven’t gone their way and Teka is looking to turn that around against Junee at Twickenham on Sunday.
“We have to start to turn it around if we want to be a contender at the end of the year,” Teka said.
“We can’t be happy with close results, we have to start putting teams away.
“We have put an emphasis on finishing games off as we have been well and truly in these games, put ourselves in a position to come with the points but haven’t finished off.”
With the Diesels coming off a win against Albury and desperate to keep in contact with the top five Teka is expecting a tough challenge.
He’s hopeful winger Mitch Ivill will be fit to return.
