Old rivals Harlequins and Lake Albert will both be out to get their season back on track in round 10 when Wagga Hockey’s senior competition returns after the long weekend break at Jubilee Park on Saturday.

Harlequins were beaten by winless Royals outfit in the last round after beating reigning premiers CSU-Rivcoll 4-2 for the first time in round eight, which was nearly a month ago.

For top of the table Lake Albert, they were knocked off by CSU-Rivcoll in the last round, ending their unbeaten start to the season after leading early on with several key players missing.

Meanwhile, Royals face CSU-Rivcoll in the other match. CSU have been victorious in their last five meetings against the newest club in the competition but Royals will be looking to build upon their maiden win of the season last round.

In the women’s competition, Rosellas and CSU-Rivcoll meet in the match of the round.

Rosellas has been CSU’s bogey team of late with only the one win and a draw in the past seven times they have met.

Royals White and Blue square against one another in the early game with the White team having the wood over the Blue side twice already this season.

However in their last encounter, Royals White came from behind to win 3-2 after the Blue side gave them a huge scare.
