That’s exactly what one Wagga theatre group will do when they take to the stage for their ninth annual short play festival.
Assessors selected just 10 entries for the 10 minute plays from a total of 57, from more than 20 eager playwrights.
Wagga School of Arts’ Fay Walters said rehearsals were now in full swing.
“This year’s plays cover a variety of themes and characters and promise plenty of entertainment,” Ms Walters said.
“Directors and actors are now bringing those scripts to life.”
Under the theme of daily dilemmas, the plays feature everyday problems of house renovations and unexpected twists while ordering an ordinary cup off coffee.
The festival will be staged at the Nathan Room at Wagga’s Commercial Club on June 16, 17 and 18.
Bookings can be made at the club from May 29.
