Wagga Veteran and Vintage Motor Club member Malcolm Nixon said it was a labour of love to restore this Daimler 1912 CC-271 to its heyday.
“It took five years,” Mr Nixon said. “I rebuilt it from the ground up.”
The engineer said he couldn’t put a price on the double-decker bus.
The vehicle will be the jewel in the crown of the car club’s 50th anniversary celebrations, according to club member Julie Rockliff.
The club is gearing up for its annual rally from Friday, June 9, to Monday, June 12.
A highlight will be a vehicle display at the Downside Recreation Reserve on the Sunday, from noon.
