Mullany injured his shoulder early in the win over Griffith last week and is expected to miss the next four to six weeks.
Angus Macleod said it was another blow to the club already struggling with injuries.
“He’s certainly a big loss,” Macleod said.
“We’ve had injuries every week for the past two or three weeks so we’re to move bloke, fill positions and put together combinations as we haven’t had the same side on the park all year.”
However, Sam Bunny returns after missing last week with concussion.
Macleod said his return is a big boost to the forward pack to take on Albury.
Harry Hosegood has also reclaimed a place in the starting side after coming on for Mullany last week.
After the Steamers were beaten 108-0 by Leeton, Macleod expects they’ll be fired up.
