Did my washing and packed up most of my curios for the post, also went through my panniers, etc. and got things square again, they being all mixed up with A Section gear. At midday word came that B. and C.Sections tent subdivision had to report to No. 3 Canadian, and No. 17 British C.C.S. for duty, so we packed up and reported about 6 p.m. B. to the Canadians and C. to the British. I was put in charge of evacuations at night, and had a fairly busy time, but had a man to show me the ropes.
Had a good supper at midnight in the cookhouse, my friend being good with the cook. It rained during our march down and made things very uncomfortable and cold, and may interfere with the stunt which is on. They hopped the bags this morning and reports are very glowing.
