Singer Ed Sheeran made the dreams of thousands come true this week with the announcement of his Australian tour next year.
The excitement has spread to Wagga with renewed hope the pop star could come to the bush for a gig.

Wagga’s Charlotte Harmer met Sheeran on live TV in February and asked if the singer would play in Wagga – to which he agreed.
Sunrise hosts against asked him about visiting Wagga and he seemed willing at the suggestion.
Miss Harmer is vying for pre-sale tickets when they go on sale next week and has not given up hope Sheeran could use one of his free days to come to Wagga.
“Hopefully he can spare a day for Wagga, that would just be incredible,” she said.
“It’s right in the middle (of Sydney and Melbourne.”
Creator of the ‘Bring Ed Sheeran to Wagga’ Facebook page, Jessica Warren, shares Miss Harmer’s excitement.
“It would be good for a rural town to have someone as big as Ed Sheeran,” she said.
She saw Miss Harmer appear on Sunrise and created the page to see if other shared her enthusiasm about bringing the singer to Wagga.
The page has almost 3000 likes since February.
