A six-tries-to-one second half was enough to hand Young a third win this season.

The Cherrypickers were pushed early by Temora, but managed to come away with a 44-22 win at Alfred Oval on Sunday.
The two teams went try for try in the first half to come into the break at 18-all, and it was a trend that continued in the second stanza before the Cherrypickers were able to string together successive tries.
When Warren Aiken’s try was backed up by Jesse Corcoran’s effort with 19 minutes to go, Young broke the tit-for-tat sequence and never looked back.
It is the second time in as many weeks a late flurry of tries has given the Cherrypickers the win.
Captain-coach James Woolford thought the team’s fitness, and a better handling effort, came to the fore in the second half. “We found it really hard to complete a set after points and let them back into every single time we got a try,” Woolford said.
“They capitalised on our mistakes but towards the middle of the second half we got to what we needed to do, completed a few in a row and they started to crack a bit more.”
