Lynch collided with Blue player Ashleigh Yan's stick.
Yan was in the thick of things herself with a goal for Blue before suffering an injury late in the second half.
CSU reserve-grade keeper, Olivia Keough, covered for an unavailable Rachel Hindi, and played well in her place.
Ashleigh Hayley Wheaton led way for the winners with two goals and was well supported by veteran Jo Jolliffe.
Royals Blue returned to the winners list, beating CSU/Rivcoll for the first time after both teams shared the points in the opening round.
Meanwhile, Royals White continues their unbeaten run in the ruthless five-goal victory over Rosellas.
White’s Bronwyn Harper scored a hat-trick of goals.
Rosellas are struggling to overcome off-season losses of Cindy White, Shae McMahon and Kira McBeath.
