Peter Zotti, Kane Harding, Andrew Wise and Greg King were finishing their round on Easter Sunday when they collectively finished with a bang.
Taking on the difficult par three 18th hole, which was playing 178 metres off the blue markers, all four produced some of their best golf at the one time to share birdies.
To have four members of one group all birdie a hole in extremely rare in golf and Wagga Country Club members are unsure if it has ever happened before at the lakeside course.
“No-one in the club had heard of anything like that happening before,” Zotti said.
“Golf never fails to provide unusual situations and events.”
Zotti teed off first and hit his shot to a metre. Harding was second and landed it next to Zotti’s ball, where it hit the pin and stopped 26 centimetres from the hole.
King was next and hit the green about 25 metres from the hole, before Wise hit his tee shot to about three metres.
Harding tapped in, before King holed his monster putt from long range.
Wise and Zotti then holed out to complete the four birdies on one hole and achieve a piece of Wagga Country Club history.
