Taylor pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding aboard Gentleman Max in Sunday’s Murrumbidgee Cup at Wagga.
The premiership leader will be able to ride on Tumut Cup day on Saturday, but will then be on the sidelines for Town Plate and Gold Cup day.
Fellow apprentices Rachel Hunt and Jessie Philpot also copped short suspensions for careless riding.
Meantime, jockey Michael Travers was feeling much better on Monday after he was taken to hospital on Sunday, complaining of headaches and neck soreness after falling on the way to the gates aboard First Rose.
