An award-winning young writer, Gabrielle Tozer officially launched her contemporary novel Remind Me How This Ends last week.
Ms Tozer said unlike her previously published works, this book tapped into themes of grief, loss and friendships turned complicated.
“It’s a country story, true to my roots,” Ms Tozer said. “I was really proud and excited to explore what it means to be a country kid.”
She said her time in rural Australia helped forge her latest publication – “a relatable story of friendship, love, loss and finding your way home”.
Ms Tozer said her passion for writing came at a young age and it was her grandmother, parents and Wagga teachers who cemented her dream into a reality.
Working as an entertainment journalist, Ms Tozer debuted The Intern, which won the State Library of Victoria’s 2015 Gold Inky Award. The sequel, Faking it, is also on shelves across the world.
