More than 50 Charles Sturt University students have thrown themselves into activities as part of a three-week Make Mornings Matter campaign promoting drug and alcohol awareness.
Wagga’s head resident Hugh Ryan said the program encouraged students to start their day positively, with walks, runs and bootcamp activities.
“If you start your day positively, the rest of the day starts to look pretty good,” Mr Ryan said.
“People start to think that if they have these active plans in the morning, they need to take care of themselves the night before.”
Mr Ryan said the program will kick off again next term.
