Carroll finished second, one shot behind behind Canberra's Adam Thorp in the boys competition.
Morisset’s Chad Mackey and Bankstown’s Adam Coull were a further shot back in the Jack Newton Junior event.
Carroll didn’t go home empty handed, with his efforts earning him the 14/15 years boys scratch title while Wagga’s Will Burkinshaw won the 14/15 nett event.
Wagga’s Tom Morriss took out the 16 years and over boys bett while Max Jenkins recorded an impressive 81 stableford points over the two days to be the best nett player of the tournament.
New Country Club professional Kurt Stegbauer was impressed by how the tournament went.
“It was great and went really well,” Stegbauer said.
“It was a polished event and all the kids really enjoyed it.”
Canberra's Chloe Thornton scored a four-shot win in the girls event.
