Beggs smashed five records on his way to the 11 years boys champion title.
Beggs broke the 11 years 50 metre freestyle record by four seconds, then bettered the 50 years breaststroke by a whopping 18 seconds with a time of 47.75.
On a busy day, Aralven was declared champion house.
The parents earned bragging rights with a win over teachers and students in the always-popular relay to finish the carnival.
Wagga Public School’s carnival coordinator Julie Stewart believes the school’s swim program is starting to show results through increased quality participation from students.
