The Colts dropped out on the top four following a loss to Lake Albert last weekend and now need to win to keep their season alive.
They had the chance to ensure a finals spot against the Bulls so now former skipper Keenan Hanigan is looking for a better start to make amends for last week’s loss.
“It’s do or die,” Hanigan said. “It’s disappointing it’s come to the last game to justify our finals position but that is where it’s at.”
The Colts will be buoyed by the return of captain-coach David Bolton and Brendan O’Reilly, however will be without their leading wicket taker Max Hillier.
Hanigan thought a slow start with the ball was what caused the slip last week and has been the focus ahead of the clash at the Wagga Cricket Ground.
“It was the worst we’ve bowled all year and the worst we’ve fielded and in the end we just fell short with the bat,” he said.
