Former students from decades ago began reminiscing about their time at the iconic Wagga studio.
Then a few of them suggested Mr Koschel host a formal reunion.
“People have been asking for it,” he said.
“I think it would be great.”
A reunion for past and present students will be held at the Bourke Street studio on February 18 from 5pm.
Mr Koschel will play old footage and show photographs while past students catch up and have a dance.
“A lot of people have said to me it wasn’t just a sport, to them it was a way of life,” he said.
Those interested in joining classes are also welcome to attend.
