The Asian-fusion restaurant is the first to open in the landmark development, which will also see a French-style cafe and a specialty supermarket occupy the bottom floor of the building.
General manager Ray Mo said the kitchen will be in full view of paying customers, to enhance the atmosphere in the dining room. Recruitment of local staff is well underway.
There will also be a quick lunchtime service on offer, for people who want to grab some yum cha during the work day.
The Mill development manager James Maher said the modern setting was more akin to something in Sydney or on the Gold Coast, bringing a new approach to Wagga.
“You don’t just have to sit down for a big meal,” Mr Maher said.
“You could meet friends after work at the bar, try some dumplings and some specialty Asian beers or one of the region’s great wines.”
