The Wagga club has picked up young centre Connor McCauley from Junee as well as Fijian prop Rulade Vuetivavalagi.
Vuetivavalagi has spent time with Group 20 club Darlington Point-Coleambally as well as Orange Hawks in Group 10 and has returned for another crack at rugby league in Australia.
Brothers captain-coach Ben Black believes his size will be a massive boost for the club.
“The aim this year was to bolster our pack up and I think if you look at our pack now it is going to be a strong pack and a big pack,” Black said. “It is going to make my life a lot easier playing so I can’t wait to play behind a big pack.”
McCauley joins former Diesels teammates Peter Little, Will Merritt and Patrick Sagigi at Brothers this year.
Black believes his versatility is just what Brothers need.
“I’ve got big wraps on Connor, he’s only a young kid still and still has a lot to learn,” he said.
“But I think he learnt a lot when he went down to St George and his versatility, playing back row and centre, will help out our team a lot.”
The Wagga club has been one of the biggest movers throughout the off-season as they look to end its finals drought.
A final appearance is firmly on the agenda for Black and he has been pleased by how the club environment has already changed with around 30 attending optional training sessions in the lead up to Christmas.
