In a show of faith in the local commercial real estate sector, a Sydney-based investor splashed out for the 3746 sq m property housing Dan Murphy’s, at the corner of Edward and Flinders streets.
The property sold at a yield of 5.2 per cent.
The selling agent, CBRE, said it had fielded more than 100 enquiries about the sale.
Dan Murphy’s is owned by Woolworths and is on a long-term lease.
