The 20-year old played junior football at Coleambally before his family moved closer to Leeton.
Morton played 15 games for the Crows this year including their finals campaign, culminating in the narrow grand final loss to Wagga Tigers.
Coleambally president Shane Mannes was pleased to confirm the key backman.
“He played a lot of footy with us as a kid,” Mannes said.
“He’s a good size, we’ll be using him in the backline at half-back or full-back.”
Morton is Coleambally’s second signing after the appointment of ruckman Michael Griffiths as coach.
Morton will be a handy in for a side set to lose Carl and Tony Pound to retirement although Mannes hinted the Blues haven’t given up hope of convincing them to play on.
The Blues are hoping to confirm additional recruits in coming weeks.
