Elleman has been added to team to the team to take on the best rugby sevens in South Australia on November 19 and 20.
She can’t wait for the opportunity.
“I am absolutely over the moon,” Elleman said.
“I’ve been working really hard at a club and representative level with Southern Inland and to finally have all my work pay off is the best thing that can probably happen to me in regards to footy.”
Elleman was brought into the team following a player of the tournament performance during Saturday’s event in Goulburn, which Southern Inland went through undefeated.
Coach Damien Tyson was impressed by the 23-year-old’s performance.
“He was really impressed with my aggression and my determination on the field and also my sportsmanship,” Elleman said.
The selection adds to a busy representative program for the Ag College hooker after she took out gold in the Australian University Games last month.
Elleman is now the second Southern Inland player in the team.
Waratahs’ Terri-Ann Cain was initially selected and will join her in the team for the event in Adelaide.
