South Wagga Warriors defeated Henwood Park Hawks 6-2 to win the second-tier grand final, the Pascoe Plate, at Equex on Saturday night.
Coach Andrew Hull has been beaming with pride after the showdown.
“It goes to show when my guys turn up they can play some soccer,” he said.
“The entire team played awesome the entire time. Henwood Park fought back, they deserved to be there. Their attack kept my defence honest.
Bai Fahnbulleh scored a hat-trick, Dustin Rogers scored a brace and Emanuel Wilkinson also scored. Henwood Park’s Adrian Saboisky played through injury to score, and youngster Jacob Ochieng popped one away.
Man of the match William Carey earned his title by exploiting the Hawks’ wing.
“He played left attacking mid,” Hull said.
“He destroyed it down the side all game.”
