Sixteen different junior grand finals were held between the two townships of Gundagai and Harden with big crowds turning out to the two venues.
Junior clubs Tumut and Young proved most successful with four grand final victories apiece.
Country Rugby League’s Bidgee regional administrator coordinator Dean Sutherland said the junior season finished on a high.
“It was great, everything ran smoothly,” Sutherland said.
“The games were good quality and the crowd behaviour was excellent.
“It was a great day.”
Tumut’s thrilling 22-18 victory over Gundagai-Adelong in the under 14 grand final was one of the highlights of the day at Anzac Park.
Rick Keast Medals were awarded to the best players in each of the 16 grand finals.
The junior presentation night will bring the season to an official close this Friday night.
