Morris has been selected for the eight-day tour, which also encompasses Australian Prime Ministers XIII game against the Kumuls.
Morris will be part of the curtain raiser to the annual clash at Port Moresby when he takes on the PNG under 16 team.
He earned the selection in the team to head to PNG from September 17-25 after a number of strong performances during the NSW Indigenous rugby league tour of Western Australia.
Morris was initially selected in the second division team but forced his way into top squad.
He was named man of the match and awarded the Yileen ‘Buddy Gordon’ Medal as well as best forward in a game against Western Australia in January before being invited to head west in June.
He captained the team in Perth and was named as best forward for the tour.
Morris was also part of the Bidgee Bulls representative season.
To help fund the trip a trivia night will be held at the Thomas Blamey on Saturday night.
The night will also include an auction of signed NRL memorabilia. A Gofundme page has also been established at www.gofundme.com/2hf2ab8.
