Arnall who plays for the Tumut Bulls was understandably happy when she found out about the award
“This is a great honor,” she said.
“I would like to thank the Quirk family for being here today to give me this medal.”
“The biggest thank you that I have is definitely for my husband because without him none of this would have been possible.”
Arnall said she was happy with the season that her team was able to put together.
“Obviously it would have been nice to play in the grand final but I think that we have worked hard all year and look forward to a similar showing next season.”

It was a close contest in who was going to win the award as Arnall who finished on 25 votes only narrowly beat Leeton’s Monique Higgins who finished on 21 votes with Lyndall Callaghan finishing in third with 13 votes.
The award was decided on a 3,2,1 basis from the referees throughout the season.
