Two Southern District race meetings, at Wagga and Gundagai, were lost this week due to the wet weather.
Amid a number of meetings lost due to a very wet winter, Racing NSW have created an extra race meeting for Tuesday August 9, at Corowa.
The decision comes a day after Friday week’s Albury meeting was transferred to Wagga.
Southern District chief steward John Davidson said it was a good result for participants.
“You can see Racing NSW are aware of the issues and are working to try to address them as best they can and help out our participants,” Davidson said.
The Corowa meeting is a seven-race TAB card.
Nominations for the meeting will close at 11am next Wednesday. Acceptances will close at 9am on Friday.
