Mackay and the team took part in BC Superweek, which featured eight races over nine days from July 8-17 and the Boise Twilight Criterium on July 16.
“That (Superweek) didn't go overly well but we then raced Boise Twilight Criterium where we got my teammate, Liza Rachetto, into the winning break,” Mackay said via Facebook.
Rachetto finished in fifth place and Mackay was runner-up in the bunch sprint, finishing eighth overall.

Mackay’s been training, in Boise, Idaho, and will travel to San Francisco on Tuesday for for the San Raphael Criterium on Saturday.

“Missing one of my favourite local races this weekend,” she said.
“Great to see my team well-represented in what should be a tough and interesting race.
“Looking forward to some more racing before I head home.”
