In a devastating display at McPherson Oval, Hannam kicked all three second-quarter goals to turn the game and added three more in the second-half when he was gathering possessions almost at will.
“Yeah, it’s good – to kick six goals every now and then is always nice,” Hannam said.
“That’s only the second or third time so it’s good when everything falls into place.”
A month after playing his 200th game for the club, which ended in their first loss of the year, Hannam was rapt to play a key role in a team enjoying its footy.
“Our pressure’s up, our midfield is getting on top and we’re getting those first and second outside runners, so it’s really good,” he said.
“When the ball’s coming in quick that’s the big difference I think. It’s giving us forwards first opportunity one-on-one.”
