Flying out of the blocks, the Wagga club led CSU 40-0 at half-time power running out 55-0 winners.
Coach Will Mitchell said Reddies really stuck it to the undefeated ladder leaders in the second stanza.
“The second half did get pretty slow and sloppy and Reddies, to their credit, shut us off from that next pass where he become quite damaging,” Mitchell said.
“I think they identified it at half-time and really fixed it up but it was a good hit-out for our forwards.
“There was a lot of close ruck defence we had to do and the boys stood up pretty well.”
In his return to first grade, Pat Barrett was the only forward to score with centres Angus Le Lievre and Tim Corcoran both crossing for doubles.
Waratahs will have a bigger task next week when they travel to Tumut for the top of the table clash.
