The scope of works includes the 10-bed hospice and a 10-bed expansion of the existing dementia care wing at the Mary Potter nursing home within the Forrest Centre.
The call out to builders comes as the hospice fund-raising committee firms up its program of events to help raise $5 million to build the facility.
First up is a movie night on July 21, followed by a mayoress ball on July 23, a trivia night on August 20 and a golf day and fairway dinner on October 14.
Builders have until July 8 to lodge their expressions of interest.
