A total of 4900 sheep and 31,000 lambs went under the hammer.
Vendor Kerry Cummins of “Meadowvale”, Uranquinty achieved the equal top price of $228 with his second-cross Poll Dorset lambs.
The extra-heavy lambs – which were estimated to weigh 34 kilograms dressed – were finished on pasture and grain.
Mr Cummins said he was pleased with how the lambs performed in what appeared to be a buoyant market.
