Playing under lights, Leeton kept Ag College scoreless as they ran out 22-0 winners.
The win keeps the pressure on ladder leaders Waratahs and Tumut, who are the only team to defeat the Phantoms.
Coach Seru Rogo was pleased with his team’s defensive effort.
However he was disappointed they couldn’t sustain the same level after leading 19-0 at half-time.
Playing in patches has proved costly for the Phantoms this season and it was a feature once more.
“In the second half when we are winning we went away from our structures and throw the ball around,” he said.
“Especially in wet you are going to drop ball.
“But all in all I was happy with how we defended."
Another bonus was keeping a full complement of players on the field for 80 minutes after a number of Phantoms have found themselves yellow carded throughout the season.
