Mater Dei Catholic College presents Popstars: The 90s Musical at 7.30pm at the Wagga Civic Theatre. It’s boy band v girl band in this high school production that features pop smash hits from the 90s. Tickets are $20 for adults, $16 for concession/student/under 15s or $65 for a family pass for two adults and two children. Tickets available from the theatre’s booking office on 6926 9688.

Kurrajong Waratah race day begins when the gate to the Murrumbidgee Turf Club open at 11.30am. The annual event suits serious punters, race enthusiasts, social racegoers and families. The day provides pre-purchased ticket holders with entry to the MTC, together with complimentary food and beverages served in Kurrajong Waratah’s hospitality facilities. Children could not want for more, with their own hospitality facilities providing an abundance of food, refreshments, rides and entertainment galore. The day will benefit Kurrajong Waratah's services and programmes which are provided to over 1300 babies, children and adults with disabilities in the Riverina Murray region. Pre-purchased tickets are $20 each, available at Kurrajong Waratah and Hunters.
Kyeamba Smith Hall at the Wagga showground is home to the Wagga Antiques Fair on Saturday and Sunday. The hall transforms into an impressive showcase of antiques as 20 dealers from around the country arrive for the annual event. The fair is open from 10am until 5pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday. Entry is $9 for adults. The fair is a fundraiser for the Amie St Clair Melanoma Trust. Contact Mick Dalton on 0428 446 534 for further details.
Head along to the demonstration gardens and bring fruit or veges to swap, or purchase fresh veges from our community garden at the corner of Albury and Shaw streets. Gardens are open from 9am to 12pm.

Discover some of Wagga’s weird history on the Weird Wagga walking tour at 4pm. Peter Cox leads the wander, telling some of the city’s strangest and most amusing stories.
