Four members of a committee planning the ball – Margaret Glasson, Barbara Baikie, Jenny McKinnon and mayoress Robyn Kendall – met on Thursday to firm up plans for the ball, which will be held in the Kildare Catholic College Hall.
The Australian Army Band Kapooka will provide music for the ball.
