Tolland battles on

Sunday created headaches for Tolland as two players sustained major injuries. First grade striker Alex Rudd sustained a broken leg and third grade player and former premiership player Matt Hall sustained a broken foot. “It was rotten luck all-round,” Tolland president Maurie Hogan said. “As Dave [Antill] said, we’ll have to keep creating opportunities without him [Rudd].” Rudd will be out for the season and Hall hopes to return for finals.
