Carribean Concert ($2.80) powered to the line to take out The Daily Advertiser Benchmark 60 Handicap (2000m).
It came just 40 minutes after I Told Georgie ($3.50) got there right before the line to take out the NSW Racehorse Owners Association Maiden Handicap (1400m).
Williams was happy to claim the double, but it was not with the two he expected.
“I actually thought my horse in the first (Bonvie Court) was my best of the day,” Williams said.
“But I thought these two were good chances as well.”
Carribean Concert edged out Wagga mare Ashtomina ($9.00) by a neck to score, with Agrionius ($8.00) a half length away in third.
I Told Georgie ($3.50) defied an alarming betting drift to beat the well-backed Zoltar ($2.00), with Wantabadgery gelding Canny Henry ($7.00) third.
