“You try not to think about it too much away from work but it does come into your mind a bit,” Morrison said.
The AFL has been for three visits – the last on Tuesday this week – offering advice.
Morrison said the entire ground has been aerated and he’s confident it couldn’t be in better shape.
“It seemed to kick it along a bit and really get it lush green,” he said.
The challenge is keeping it that way, in a hot final week.
Morrison will keep the water up and he’s confident the deck will be spot on after a final cut on Saturday.

A new canteen and a commentary box have been added in time for the game.
