They watched their father suffer from the disease and his death triggered a deep need in both of them to ensure they eased the suffering of other families.
The siblings created Tubby’s Ride in honour of their late father, a charity motorbike ride around his home of Cootamundra.
The ride is entering its fourth year and is expected to attract more than 300 people on March 5 to raise money for the Cancer Council.
Tubby’s Ride will this year be supported by Lawrence Legend, who will leap over the running blades of a helicopter on a XR750 at Monte Cristo in Junee.
