Pocock studies ecological agriculture part-time at CSU and Reddies decided to welcome him into the fold.
Coach Paul Spain thought it was a nice link for the club.
“When we saw that he was a student a CSU we thought we should present him something for the Charles Sturt University Rugby Club,” Spain said.
Pocock didn’t play but travelled to Wagga and was presented with a Reddies shirt at the Brumbies In The Bush dinner on Friday night.
He said it was a nice memento and he’s been enjoying the classes, if though his schedule makes it hard to attend classes.
“I’ve really enjoyed it and I’m going in my fourth year, certainly not the full-time study and I’m getting through one or two subjects a semester,” Pocock said.
