At about 3am on Monday morning, officers pulled over a Victorian registered Ford ute on the Sturt Highway as part of Operation Assure.
The 55-year-old male driver tested positive to drugs and a subsequent search uncovered 5.5kg of marijuana and $15,500 cash in the car.
A small amount of methamphetamine and marijuana was also found on the 22-year-old female passenger.
