Phantoms coach Seru Rogo confirmed Makia Ravouvou would not be at the club for 2016 after making the move to Canberra.
Ravouvou played one season with the Phantoms, after following the coach from Griffith, and was part of the Southern Inland representative team last season.
The Phantoms are also unlikely to retain centre Farrell Moata, who has been linked to Wagga City.
After playing representative football last season, Moata was named in the Redbacks team for the curtain-raiser to the Super Rugby trial next month.
While named as a Leeton player on Monday, Rogo isn’t confident he’ll return for a second year with the club.
“He is living in Sydney at the moment and working there,” Rogo said.
“He doesn’t have a club at the moment but I don’t think he is coming back to Leeton.”
Former Fijian international Marika Vunibaka has also announced his retirement and the Phantoms are yet to announce any recruits.
The club started training last week and Rogo is looking to build on the big steps made by the club in 2015.
After going from wooden spooners to preliminary finalists, the premiership winning coach is looking to slowly build into the season.
He expects frontrower Dan Patu to have another big season.
“He's very keen to have another big time in his second year,” Rogo said.
“I’m really happy with Dan.
“He’s looked after himself really well in the off-season and looked really good at training.”
Rogo said the club was still in the hunt for a number of new years but nothing had been confirmed yet.
