The rookie entrants of the competition have been training diligently for months now and it certainly paid off.
The boys showed a great amount of determination, skill and teamwork which earned them the championship.
Coming out on top and undefeated against much larger, metropolitan schools, the boys did both themselves and their school very proud.
Wagga Christian College principal, Hugh MacCallum has been enjoying celebrating the win with the College community.
“In a K- 12 environment we have a unique opportunity for older students to cheer on younger ones and vice versa,” MacCallum said.
“The whole school enjoyed celebrating this great win together.”
