The senior constable, who is attached to a specialist command, was issued a future court attendance notice for 16 counts of modify restricted data held in computer.
Police said the 39-year-old was issued the notice on Tuesday.
He will appear at Wagga Local Court on January 6.
Limited information over the alleged data breaches were available late Thursday night. It is not yet known if the police officer is stationed in Wagga.
